There are two different bus routes to travel from Campo Grande to Foz do Iguacu. The direct one runs once a day, but by travelling to Cascavel and then changing onto the bus to Foz, there are several buses running throughout the day.

The majority of travel is done on a highway and there is little that is remarkable on the road. Since the two cities are very different, the most interesting scenery occurs when departing or approaching each area.

 

 

Campo Grande to Foz do Iguacu via Cascavel

 

The bus ride from Campo Grande to Cascavel takes approximately 13 hours. The three companies offering this route depart from Rodoviaria Campo Grande (Campo Grande main bus terminal), arriving at Rodoviaria de Cascavel (Cascavel's main bus terminal):

  • Executivo - lmost full recline

 

Remember to arrive to the Campo Grande Terminal at least 40 minutes before the scheduled departure because you will need to redeem your ticket at the Ticket Desk of your chosen company;  there they will also tell you which is the boarding platform for this particular trip. We suggest you to take something to drink and eat since there are no snacks or drinks onboard and some of the buses won’t stop at all. Also take a coat or jacket with you as the air conditioning is usually very strong.

 

Once there you will have to change onto the bus ride from Cascavel to Foz do Iguacu, which takes approximately 2.5 hours. The three companies offering this route depart from Rodoviaria de Cascavel (Cascavel's main bus terminal), arriving at Rodoviaria Internacional de Foz do Iguacu (Foz's main bus terminal):
